Every year, climbers make the pilgrimage to the climbing mecca of Ten Sleep Canyon. Many people settle in for the season, hoping to avoid the heatwaves that hit the rest of the country and climb as much as possible. The 4th of July festival gives us climbers a reason to take a rest day, mingle with the locals, and enjoy some good, old fashioned, quality entertainment – the annual Ten Sleep Rodeo. You can see the little ones Mutton Busting, and adults attempting to hold on to the bucking broncos & raging bulls, along with some barrel racing and the always insane Wild Horse race. Some other hightlights: our friend won the instant lotto and we met a girl with a pet raccoon!
